Ralph Enrico Caruso

October 23, 1929 ~ December 30, 2016 (age 87)


CARUSO, RALPH ENRICO; 87 years old of St. Petersburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016. He was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. Growing up, Ralph worked with his Dad painting since he was 7 Years old. After graduating from High School, Ralph joined the Army and served honourably for 6 years in during the Korean War. He Loved his country, and spoke proudly of serving in the Armed Forces. Ralph later became a licensed Painting Contractor in NJ after getting His 4 year Business Degree. Ralph moved to St. Petersburg, FL with his Wife Lydia and their two children in 1961, to help His Father Ciro, take care of his Mother Anna. He later took over his Father’s painting business. He was preceded in Death by his wife of 36 years; Lydia Catherine Zanfino Caruso. He is survived by His 2 children, His Son; Gerald “Jerry” Martin Caruso, of  St. Petersburg, FL, and His Daughter; Maryanna Caruso Greene, of High Point NC. Ralph is also survived by his Brother; Ciro son; “Jerry” Caruso, of Cave Creek, Arizona. Growing up, Ralph was raised Catholic, and was always a God fearing Man. He liked painting, fishing, dancing, singing, bowling, traveling and having a good time. He had many friends, and His presence will be greatly missed with love and respect.
