Albert Rohrbaugh Obituary
Rohrbaugh, Albert H., of Clearwater, was born in York, PA. , the son of Lake & Alice Krone Rohrbaugh, on May 29, 1920. He graduated from William Penn High School and University of Denver with a Bachelors in Accounting. He was a CPA, a member of the Financial Executives Institute, a member of the Disabled Veterans and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He was a 1st Lt. in the Army during WWII, and he served in the South Pacific. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He retired to Florida in 1985 from Cleveland, TN, where he was Vice President of Finance for Magic Chef, Inc. In Florida he served on the board of directors of the Louisiana Correctional Services, Inc. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Virginia; 3 sons, Richard of Dunedin, Robert of Tavares, and Eric of Dillsburg, PA., and 4 grandchildren, Kara Frey (Robert), Lindsay Rohrbaugh, Alexis McCain (Peter), and Andrew Rohrbaugh (Nancy). In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the American Cancer Society. Services to be held 11 a.m. A private family graveside service to held in York, PA at a later date.
