Anna Vaughn

Anna L. Vaughn, age 84, of Largo, died June 19, 2010, at Largo Medical Center. Anna was born in Auto, West Virginia. she attended David and Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia. Anna moved to Washington, D.C. in 1944 where she worked for the Navy Dept. (bureau of Ships) for 20 years. She retired in 1971 as senior computer analyst for the Bureau of Ships Controller Dept. Anna moved to Clearwater, Florida from Annadale, Virginia in 1972. After retiring she and her husband, Leslie, traveled extensively throughout the US, Canada and Mexico.

Anna is survived by three step-children, Neil Vaughn of Charlotte, NC, Gail Callaghan of Selbyville, DE and Sandra Hansen of Hayden, ID. Also a sister Sylvia Druckenmiller of Littleton, CO and a brother William P. Johnston of Pennsylvania. Anna was preceded in death by her husband Leslie on March 10, 2007.
