Betty Marie (Dawson) Pierotti

Betty Marie Pierotti, 85, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021.  She was survived by her three loving sons and many nieces and nephews.  Betty was born on July 25, 1935 in Athens, Pennsylvania.  She studied at Robert Packer Hospital School of Nursing to become a R.N. and worked at first in local hospitals until switching to working for private practice doctors.

She met the love of her life in Joseph John Pierotti. They married in June of 1961 and settled in Corning, New York to raise a family.  After having three sons they decided to move to Seminole, Florida to enjoy better weather. Betty continued her nursing career in Florida while still being an active Mother by participating in each of her son's various activities.  She was also an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

After retiring from nursing once her youngest child graduated high school she pursued a new career in Tax Preparation.  Once her husband retired they started enjoying traveling together.  She also started several hobbies such as painting.

Betty was a loving, devoted wife, mother, sister, and daughter who would do anything for her family and friends.  She touched many people over her lifetime and will be greatly missed by all.
