Cleo Halvorsen Obituary

 

HALVORSEN, CLEO ANN (DELASKI), 88, of Palm Harbor, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday (January 6, 2021) at 9:30 am from her residence after extended illness. She was born April 24, 1932 in Ashland Wisconsin. She graduated High School in Marinette, Wisconsin.

Cleo lived in Wisconsin and Michigan most of her life and moved to Florida in 1980. She owned and operated “Cleo’s Pet Shop” in Marquette Michigan for more than 10 years. She raised pure bred dogs and cats and took care of and sold other exotic animals at her pet shop. She came to Florida to retire. She however did also become a cook for many famous restaurants in Florida. Cleo loved to hunt and fish and was an avid sportswoman. She raised her children in the Methodist church but always considered herself a Catholic. She was a Godly woman that loved her family. Cleo was proceeded in death by her loving husband of over 52 years Theodore Lawrence Halvorsen Jr. and beloved son Theodore Craig Halvorsen 67 years.    

Survivors include: Eldest Son Edward Lawrence Halvorsen, Daughters: Kathryn Ann (Halvorsen) Leanes, Diane Marie (Halvorsen) Trepany. Three Brother’s: Robert S. Delaski, Kenneth Delaski and Donald Delaski. Grand Children include: Tara (Halvorsen) Dennis, Jared Halvorsen, Travis Halvorsen, Taysha (Halvorsen) Walters, Lindsey Trepany, Taren Leanes, and Tret Leanes. Great Grandchildren include: Trey, Beckett and Colette Dennis, Hadley and Hunter Halvorsen, Avrey, Ryley and Reese Walters, Damon Trepany, Nikolaous Leanes. Other family members include cousins, nieces and nephews. A grave side service will be held at Royal Palm Funeral Home and Cemetery North in Pinellas Park Florida. 

She was very loved by all her family and will be greatly missed.
