Evelyn (Pisanelli) Moraca

Evelyn Moraca of Largo passed away peacefully on Jan. 5, 2013. Born in Johnstown, Pa. in 1919 to Michael and Angelina Pisanelli she was one of 7 children. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas. She is survived by her loving family Thomas Jr. and his wife Christine, daughter Deborah and husband John. Four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many relatives and friends. Her love and kindness will be missed by all who knew her. She was loved and will be forever in our hearts.

Tom and Evelyn were owners of a construction company in Cherry Hill N.J. They retired to Largo in 1971. She was a very active parishioner and a Eucharistic minister for St. Cecelia’s Church. Evelyn was selected to receive the Diocese of St. Petersburg, St. Jude the Apostle award.

A visitation will be held at 11:30 at Rhodes Funeral Home followed by a mass at 1:00 on Friday Jan.11, 2013 at St. Cecelia’s. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. 14010 Roosevelt Blvd Suite 709 Clearwater in Evelyn’s memory.
