Gailya (Lawson) Grant R.N.

Gailya L. Grant RN passed away peacefully on Sunday Nov. 4, 2012. She was born in Oneida, Tennessee on June 18, 1943. She attended Highland Park General Hospital School of Nursing in Detroit and became a degree RN. Early in her career she  was a member of the Salvation Army  and a SA nurse. 

She moved to Florida in 1971 where she worked as an RN at Suncoast Hospital and the Pinellas County Jail.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years Bob Grant. Her children Charles and Robert Kimmins of Tampa, her daughter Laura Beth Brownlee and grandson Kyle also of Tampa and her Stepdaughter Lara Lynn Grant of Orlando.

She has extended family members in her Cousin Brenda Czipri and family. The Milnes, Kimmins, Hales, Brownlees and Joys. She loved each and every one of you.
