Jeanne King, age 83, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of a life well lived.

Jeanne was a devoted mother, dedicated professional, and caring member of her community. She spent much of her career in retail management, where she was respected for her leadership, strong work ethic, and commitment to helping others succeed.

 

Outside of her professional life, Jeanne found great joy in needlepoint, creating beautiful handcrafted pieces that reflected her patience, creativity, and attention to detail. She also generously gave her time as a volunteer at St. Anthony's Hospital, where her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many patients, families, and staff members.

 

Jeanne was preceded in death by her son, Brian King. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Cramer; her brothers, Joseph Bauer and John Darr; as well as extended family members, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

 

Her warmth, generosity, and quiet strength will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and those whose lives she enriched through her friendship, service, and compassion.

 

A private family graveside service will be held. A celebration of life will be in October, with details to be announced at a later date.
