Obituary

TOMASELLI, Joseph 92, Clearwater, born in Utica, NY on April 4, 1921, and passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 at Suncoast Hospice, Palm Harbor. Joe was married to Kathleen Gurdo on Oct. 19, 1946, having recently celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary. Joe fought in WWII as a US Marine Sergeant and was twice wounded in the South Pacific Theater. Joe is survived by his beloved Kay, children, Joseph (Mary), Ithaca, NY, Richard, Remsen, NY, Michael, Clearwater, and Mary Elizabeth (Vincent), Brick, NJ. Also missing their grandpa are, Kelly, Michael Scott, Joey and Daisy Tomaselli, as well as his two great-grandkids, Isabella and Alexis Tomaselli. A service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013 at 1 pm at Rhodes Funeral Home, 800 Druid Road East, Clearwater.

Joe is survived by his wife Kathleen and 3 sons; Joseph of Ithaca NY, Richard of Remsen NY and Michael of Clearwater. He has one daughter Mary Elizabeth Tomaselli-Talerico of Brick, N.J. He also has 4 grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:00 in the afternoon and will be conducted by Fr. Pat Rahill.
