‎بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
‎السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
‎إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Hajjin Jumrattan Mohamed
passed away in St. Petersburg Florida on June 10th, 2021.
She was 87 years old, Guyanese-American, and one of the founding members of Masjid Ebad Al Rahman and strong member of Istaba for over 35 years.

 
‎إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ‎,
(Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raajioon)
"Verily we belong to Allah and verily to Him do we return." 2:156

Marhouma's late husband:
Fazil Mohamed.
Mother of Bibi Rehanna and 5 others.
Grandmother of Sara Rehanna and 15 others
Great Grandmother of  30
Great Great grandmother of 4.

 She was a loving and faithful Wife, understanding and compassionate Mother, and a strong and caring Grandmother. She was well known for her endless capacity to love; having compassion for others; and doing charity whenever she could.  She lived a content and joyous life with her family and her community. In her heart she always put the ummah first and may Allah swt grant her Jannat-Ul-Firdous for all the efforts she made in this duniya. We ask that you make a small prayer for her when you can. 

 
The Janaza took place at 2pm on June 11th, 2021:
