Philip McManus

McManus, DDS; Dr. Philip P., 90 of Clearwater, passed away on October 2, 2010. Born in Illinois, he was a WWII veteran having served as an officer in the U.S. Navy in both the Atlantic and Pacific theatres. Following the end of WWII, he entered Columbia University Dental School receiving his medical degree in 1950. Dr. McManus began his dental practice in New Windsor, New York and in 1962 moved his dental practice to Clearwater where he continued to practice until his retirement in 1984. Dr. McManus was a loving husband, father, father-in-law and friend and will be greatly missed by all. Dr. McManus is survived by his wife Marjorie, daughter Diane, son-in-law Tom, step-daughter Cindy Tully (Joe), Step-sons Doctors Mark and Matt Licht and seven grandchildren.
Visitation Tue. 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass Wed.. 12:30p.m. at St. Cecelia’s Catholic Church.
