Phyllis Fischer

Mrs. Phyllis June Fischer of Palm Harbor, FL passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the age of 75.

Phyllis was born to parents Clarence and Oney Cardwell on July 11, 1941, in Kingsport, Tennessee. She grew up the younger of two children. After the death of her father in 1955, her mother, Phyllis and sister Dixie moved to St. Petersburg, Florida. she graduated from Boca Ciega High School and shortly there after moved with her family to California. She lived and workd in California before deciding she preferred Florida moving back to St. Petersburg in 1964.

Phyllis started working at Honeywell in 1964 where she met Rodney Fischer. Phyllis and Rodney were married in 1968 and had three children. She spent the remainder of her life as devoted housewife, mother and grandmother.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Rodney Fischer; her son, Adrian Fischer; her daughters, Alicia King and Amber Burris; her sister, Dixie Cardwell; her grandchildren, Tyler Burris, Damien Burris, and Liam King. she is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Oney Cardwell.
