Tetula (McMullen) Coryell Obituary

CORYELL, Tetula McMullen 86, passed on Saturday, March 9, of heart failure. Born in Clearwater on December 18, 1926, she graduated from Clearwater High in 1944, married Richard W. Coryell in 1946 and lived in Clearwater until she and her husband moved to Lakeland in 1994. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Clearwater and a founding member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Largo. She worked at Clearwater Beach Bank and the Pinellas Courthouse and was active in D.A.R. Preceded in death by her husband Richard, daughter Cara Minnette, and brother Boliver McMullen, she is survived by her son Richard W. (Lori) Coryell Jr.; daughter Marnee (Mike) Cobb; grandchildren Candace (John) Deuster, Cara (Eric) Taylor, Philip (Christy) Coryell and David Cobb; great-grandchildren Nathan and Natalie Deuster. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 23, 11 am, at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater. Flowers should be sent to Rhodes Funeral Home.
